Rank Reset
As the new ranked period kicks off, players’ ranks will be reset based on their previous performance. If you finished the last season with a high rank, such as Gold or Silver, you’ll start the new season in a stronger position, without dropping back to Bronze. This ranked phase will run until the release of v.33.00, so accelerate and show your skills!
New Weekly and Ranked Tasks
Throughout the ranked period, you’ll be able to complete various tasks, such as Weekly Tasks and Speed Track Time Trials, which reward unique items for customizing your vehicles. Each week, you’ll unlock different colors for the Mystic Fade Boost, including Gray, Cobalt, Titanium White, and Sky Blue. Additionally, you can unlock themed lobby music, such as “Inferno Island” and “Ocean Breeze Beats,” by completing tasks across the weeks.
In Ranked Tasks, players reaching Bronze I or higher will unlock the Starry Boost, with additional colors like Titanium White, Crimson, and Purple available as you climb the ranks. Those who hit Platinum I will unlock the Starry Trail, also customizable with colors like Pink and Orange.
Speed Track Time Trials
For speed enthusiasts, the Speed Track Time Trials are available until November 1st, testing your skills on challenging tracks such as Outpost and Cliffside Race 2. Completing these tasks will unlock the Semi-Speed Wheels, available in colors like Black and Forest Green.
A new set of Time Trial tasks will be released on November 8th, offering the chance to unlock the Cybernetic Wheels and their color variations, including Lime and Black.
Nightmare Tasks
With the Fortnitemares event, Rocket Racing also brings spooky tasks. Complete challenges, such as racing without hitting obstacles, and earn a significant amount of EXP to progress in your Battle Pass. These tasks will be available until v.32.00.
Gameplay Improvements and Bug Fixes
Several improvements have been made in v.31.40, including smoother textures on mobile devices for tracks like Seafoam Cove and Pitstop Park. Additionally, matchmaking and task tracking bugs have been fixed, ensuring a smoother experience.
