Get ready for action with the FNCS Major 3 of 2024 and a series of exciting tournaments happening during Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 3. Highlights include the Ranked Championships, the new Open Championships, and much more. Below, you’ll find all the details about these competitions.
RANKED MODE AND TOURNAMENTS
With the start of Chapter 5: Season 3, the new Ranked Mode also begins. Your rank will determine your eligibility for participating in Epic Games tournaments, which include both cosmetic prize competitions, such as the FNCS Community Championships, and cash prize tournaments, like the Console Cash Cup.
Rank requirements for some of this Season’s tournaments:
- FNCS Major 3: Platinum I in Ranked Battle Royale
- Ranked Championships: Based on Current Rank
- Open Championships: No Minimum Rank
- Cash Cups: Gold I in Ranked Battle Royale or Ranked Zero Build
- Victory Cash Cups: Gold I in Ranked Battle Royale or Ranked Zero Build
- Console Cash Cups (Duos): Platinum I in Ranked Battle Royale
- PlayStation Cups: Bronze I in Ranked Battle Royale or Ranked Zero Build
RANK RESET
With the arrival of the new Ranked Season, all ranks have been reset. Play a Ranked match to reveal your new rank in both Battle Royale and Zero Build.
CHAPTER 5: SEASON 3 TOURNAMENTS
FNCS MAJOR 3 OF 2024
Congratulations to the winners of FNCS Major 2, who have qualified for the FNCS Global Championship 2024. Get your tickets at fn.gg/tickets to watch the Global Championship live. FNCS Major 3 of 2024 will begin in Chapter 5: Season 3, with Open Qualifiers taking place from June 14 to July 28. More details will be announced on Fortnite Competitive’s social media channels.
RANKED CHAMPIONSHIPS
In Chapter 5: Season 3, players will compete in Squads, Duos, or Solo against others of the same rank in both Battle Royale and Zero Build. In Duos and Squads competitions, you can join as a solo substitute and be matched with other solo substitutes.
Ranked Championships Dates:
- Solo: June 1, June 8, June 22, July 27, August 10
- Duos: June 2, June 9, June 23, June 30, July 21, July 28, August 4, August 11
- Squads: June 15, June 29, August 3
OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS (NEW!)
The new Open Championships offer frequent and fun competitions with low pressure. They are a great opportunity to hone your skills for more serious tournaments. These tournaments do not offer prizes.
Open Championships Dates:
- Duos: May 31, June 7, June 14, June 21, June 28, July 19, July 26, August 2, August 9
- Trios: June 1, June 8, June 15, June 22, June 29, August 3, August 10
CASH CUPS
Compete in Duos in Battle Royale and Zero Build for cash prizes. The top 40 duos in Battle Royale and the top 25 in Zero Build will win cash prizes.

VICTORY CASH CUPS
These tournaments, available in Solo and Squads formats in Battle Royale and Solo in Zero Build, reward players who qualify for Round 2 with cash prizes for each Victory Royale. Check the schedule in the “Compete” tab.
CONSOLE CASH CUPS
Available for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch players, the Console Cash Cups take place in Duos format and consist of two rounds. The top players from Round 2 will win cash prizes.
PLAYSTATION CUPS
PlayStation players can participate in the PlayStation Cups from May 31 to June 15, 2024, with Zero Build and Battle Royale Solo competitions.
PlayStation Cups Schedule:
- Zero Build: May 31 (Qualifier 1), June 7 (Qualifier 2), June 22 (Finals)
- Battle Royale: June 1 (Qualifier 1), June 8 (Qualifier 2), June 15 (Finals)
The top 50 players from each qualifier advance to the finals, competing for a total of $250,100 in prizes.

You can only compete in one region per Season. After participating in a region, you cannot switch to another in subsequent events of the same Season.
