While players aged 16 to 19 tend to enjoy PvP and online games more, adults—especially those aged 55 and above—lean toward single-player titles.

The research concluded that many older players prefer narrative-driven and single-player games because live-service games are often time-consuming and increasingly difficult to coordinate with friends.
