Chapter 5: Season 4 of Fortnite Battle Royale has arrived, bringing with it the anticipation of the 2024 FNCS Global Championship, where the best players will compete for a total prize pool of $2,002,000.
To celebrate the launch of FNCS 2024, become a legend on Fortnite’s Champions Road, running from August 21 to September 29! This celebratory competition offers objectives and tournaments for players of all skill levels. Here’s what you can expect and how to get ahead in the game.
Embrace the Competitive Spirit on Champions Road
The Battle Royale Champions Road Quests will be available from 10 AM BRT on August 21 until 10 AM BRT on September 29. While you don’t need to participate in every tournament listed below, competing in some will help you complete specific tournament objectives in the Quests!
In total, this Season’s tournaments (excluding the Globals) will feature a prize pool of $4,000,000. The Reload tournaments will make their debut, with an exclusive total prize pool of over $1,000,000!

FNCS Kyra Champion + Cosmic Infinity Cup
The paths to victory on the Champions Road are many, but not infinite. The FNCS Kyra Champion + Cosmic Infinity Cup is similar to the FNCS Community Cup from Chapter 4: Season 4! Become a legend by obtaining these FNCS items before they arrive in the Item Shop at 9 PM BRT on August 28:

FNCS Kuno Champion + Renzo Champion Cup
Strike Gold! The FNCS Kuno Champion + Renzo Champion Cup is a new Duos Battle Royale event where you and your partner can play up to ten matches in your region within a three-hour window! The exact event time for your region can be found in the “Compete” tab in the game. These items will be awarded to the top-scoring duos in each region before they arrive in the Item Shop at 9 PM BRT on September 4:

PlayStation SypherPK Cup
PlayStation players! Don’t have the SypherPK Outfit in your collection yet? Well, you’ll have another chance to obtain it in this Solo Battle Royale event! In the Qualifier, top-scoring players from each region will advance to the Finals the following day. In the Finals, the highest-ranked players from each region will receive a share of the $250,000 total prize pool and these SypherPK items:

Victory Cash Cups
Compete for cash prizes! In Victory Cash Cups, you don’t necessarily win money by finishing high in the tournament rankings. Instead, you earn cash for each Victory Royale that you or your team achieve in Round 2! Top-scoring participants or teams from each region in Round 1 advance to Round 2 on the same day.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to participate in a Victory Cash Cup throughout Chapter 5: Season 4, whether in the Battle Royale (Solo), Zero Build (Solo), or Reload (Squads) format! (To participate in the Reload Squads Victory Cash Cup, you’ll need to be ranked Gold I or higher in Battle Royale.)
We’ve made some changes to the ranking system compared to last Season’s Victory Cash Cups, so be sure to check the game and the Official Rules for updates.
Performance Evaluations
These tournaments mainly help us better understand how to improve performance and test new ideas for high-level tournaments. While it’s unlikely that the same conditions of an FNCS Grand Final will be replicated, we’re adjusting the participation criteria for this Season’s Performance Evaluations to a more competitive standard. This Season, Performance Evaluations will only be available to players who earned Series Points from NA and EU in the previous Season (Chapter 5: Season 3).
This Season, we’re introducing Performance Evaluations for Reload in the NA region!
Cash Cups
Compete for cash prizes alongside your duo. In Chapter 5: Season 4, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to participate in a Cash Cup for either Battle Royale (Duos) or Zero Build (Duos). Whichever you choose, these tournaments will have two rounds, with the top 50 duos advancing to Round 2 the day after Round 1!
The top 40 duos in Battle Royale and the top 10 in Zero Build will win cash prizes. We’ve also significantly increased the prize money for the winning duos in NA and EU (US$ 10,000).
Platform Reload Cash Cups
Face off against others on PC, console, or mobile devices. All in Reload! Separate tournaments will be held for PC, console, and mobile devices throughout Chapter 5: Season 4, all in Duos format. Each tournament will have two rounds on the same day. The top 20 duos from each region will advance to Round 2, where the top 10 duos from PC and console and the top three duos from mobile devices will win cash prizes.
Ranked Cups
Throughout Chapter 5: Season 4, you’ll repeatedly have the chance to play in Duos against players with similar ranks. Participate in either Battle Royale or Zero Build! You’ll have the option to queue solo as a Fill to pair up with another solo player.
Victory is on the horizon: earn at least 50 points in any Ranked Cup this Season to obtain the Ranked Guardian Back Bling!
Champions Road… Beyond Battle Royale?
Battle Royale isn’t the only way to become a legend. Race for the trophy in Rocket Racing, thrill the crowd at Fortnite Festival, and score a winning goal in Rocket League:
Rocket Racing — Race on Champions Road
In Rocket Racing’s Ranked Race, you’ll push the limits (of the finish line). With Rocket Racing Champions Road Quests, you’ll race your way to Rank. Two Quests per day will unlock between August 21 and August 30 and will remain available until 10 AM BRT on September 29! Get ready to unlock a rank-based reward in Battle Royale (whether ranked or not).
Fortnite Festival: Become a Music Legend
For those whose passion is music, Fortnite Festival is the place to be. This multi-day, multi-genre musical celebration will take place at the largest-ever in-game venue! Play for a chance to earn an exclusive Pickaxe, Back Bling, Emote, and Music Track.
Rocket League — Champions Road
The iconic Rocket League returns to Champions Road with the global “Champions Road” event, featuring cross-play enabled tournaments with unique rewards.
Tournament Eligibility and New Updates
For most tournaments with cash prizes, a minimum Account Level of 350 is required to participate. For other tournaments, the minimum Account Level is 50.
Be sure to check the in-game “Career” tab to confirm your Account Level and ensure your eligibility for competition.
