Fortnite Will Make an Important Change to Its Passes, Benefiting Players of Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, and Fortnite Festival

Since its launch, Fortnite has evolved significantly, becoming more than just a Battle Royale game. The franchise now includes experiences like LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite Festival, and Rocket Racing, each with its own independent pass and reward systems.

In recent months, the player community has been requesting that Epic Games unify the pass systems, allowing progression to occur independently of the title being played. The company has listened to this feedback and announced significant changes that will be implemented soon.

Starting December 1st, all Fortnite passes will progress simultaneously with the experience gained, regardless of the title. This means players will be able to accumulate experience (XP) in any of the franchise experiences and unlock rewards across all games more easily.

Details of the Changes

Epic Games confirmed that the same system will be implemented for the Fortnite Festival Music Pass starting November 2nd. Finally, the LEGO Fortnite pass, named Bricks and Scares, will also receive shared progression beginning December 1st.

With this new approach, the three passes will offer a single path of rewards, both premium and free. Players will be able to unlock rewards in any order, and all obtained rewards will automatically apply across the three experiences.

However, some additional changes are on the way. Starting November 2nd, Festival Points will be removed, and on December 1st, there will no longer be Battle Stars or Spikes. Players will still need to purchase each pass separately, but Epic Games is working on a solution that will allow all passes to be bought at once. Additionally, players will be able to purchase rewards directly instead of levels, but this purchase will not affect progress in other active passes.

Connection Improvements for Players

With these changes, players can expect a more integrated and seamless gaming experience. To ensure you have the best connection while playing, consider using NoPing. It provides a reduction in ping, an increase in FPS, solutions for packet loss, and resolutions for jitter, helping to minimize disconnects and lag. Keep your connection stable and play more efficiently in Fortnite and across all franchise experiences!
