The epic battle between the virtuous and the fearless is about to unfold on the island! With the onset of Chapter 5: Season 2 looming, get ready to dive into the thrilling Open Qualifiers of the FNCS Major 2 of 2024, along with a myriad of other tournaments, including Ranked Championships, Mixed Seconds, Cash Cup Championships, and much more. Below, we detail all these events for you!
RANKED MODE AND TOURNAMENTS Ranked Mode for Chapter 5: Season 2 is already underway, and your progress in the ranking will be one of the requirements to participate in tournaments organized by Epic Games. These range from competitions for cosmetic prizes, such as the FNCS Community Championships, to cash prize tournaments, such as the Console Cash Cup Championship.
Check the ranking requirements for some of these tournaments this season or refer to the official rules of each competition:
FNCS Major 2: Platinum I in Ranked Battle Royale.
Ranked Championships: Requirements based on current rank.
Mixed Seconds: No minimum rank requirement.
Cash Cup Championships (Duos): Gold I in Ranked Battle Royale.
Victory Cash Cup Championship (Solo): Gold I in Ranked Battle Royale.
Zero Build Victory Cash Cup Championship (Duos): Gold I in Ranked Zero Build.
Console Cash Cup Championship (Duos): Platinum I in Ranked Battle Royale.
PlayStation Championships: Bronze I in Ranked Battle Royale or Ranked Zero Build.
RANK RESET All ranks have been reset in Chapter 5: Season 2, offering players a fresh start.
Play a ranked match to reveal your new rank (one match per game mode: Battle Royale and Zero Build).
CHAPTER 5: SEASON 2 TOURNAMENTS FNCS MAJOR
2 OF 2024 The FNCS Major 2 of 2024 will kick off Chapter 5: Season 2! Team up with your partner and get ready for the Open Qualifiers, which will take place from April 12th to 21st. Stay tuned for more details on the FNCS Major 2 of 2024 on Fortnite Competitive’s official social media channels.
RANKED CHAMPIONSHIPS
Ranked Championships for Chapter 5: Season 2 offer the chance to compete in Squads, Duos, or Solo against players of the same rank level, both in Battle Royale and Zero Build. For Duos and Squads competitions, players will have the option to sign up as solo alternates to be matched with other solo alternate players.
Compete in at least six matches in any Ranked Championship to earn the Star Ray Loading Screen. Reach 25 points to unlock the Star Current Loading Screen, 50 points for the Star Wing Loading Screen, and 75 points for the Ranked Pantheon Glider! The latter will display your rank during the championship, requiring you to compete again to update it when you rank up.

MIXED SECONDS
Mixed Seconds promise a weekly injection of adrenaline with scores, formats, and objectives changing each week. Don’t miss the opportunity to showcase your skills every Monday.
CASH CUP CHAMPIONSHIPS
Battle Royale Cash Cup Championships (Duos) return this season! Team up with your partner and compete in two intense rounds of Battle Royale. Check the schedule in the “Compete” tab within the game.
To participate, you must have Gold I rank or higher in Ranked Battle Royale.
VICTORY CASH CUP CHAMPIONSHIPS
Victory Cash Cup Championships offer cash prizes in Battle Royale (Solo) and Zero Build (Duos). After qualifying for Round 2, each Victory Royale guarantees a cash prize!
Check the schedules of the Victory Cash Cup Championships in the “Compete” tab within the game. Only players with Gold I rank or higher in Ranked Battle Royale or Ranked Zero Build can participate.
CONSOLE CASH CUP CHAMPIONSHIP
Console players can participate in up to four Console Cash Cup Championships (Duos) this season! These championships, exclusive to PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, will take place in two rounds. Advance to Round 2 and compete for cash prizes!
Only players with Platinum I rank or higher in Ranked Battle Royale can participate in the Console Cash Cup Championship.
PLAYSTATION CHAMPIONSHIPS
PlayStation players, get ready for the Fortnite PlayStation Championships between May 31st and June 15th, 2024. There will be Solo tournaments in Battle Royale and Zero Build. Check the dates of the Qualifiers and the Finals!
