For a limited time, players can earn these special anniversary rewards during matches. Additionally, new quests have been introduced, allowing players to unlock exclusive items available only during this celebration.
Anniversary gifts in Fortnite: Battle Royale
Epic Games has confirmed that the anniversary rewards will be available until October 1st. Until then, players can participate in the 7th-anniversary themed quests, which offer a range of prizes. Among the gifts, players will find a firework weapon, perfect for damaging wooden structures. Balloons also make a return, offering a fun way to travel across the island.
Another addition is birthday cake slices, which can be found in matches to restore both health and shield. However, it’s important to note that these items are not available in competitive tournaments.
On top of these temporary items, players can earn a medallion that gives balloons each time they jump, accumulating up to three. Completing the anniversary quests unlocks special rewards: the Birthday Boy spray, the Cake Smash pickaxe, and the Cosmic Birthday back bling. To claim them, you’ll need to complete 1, 3, and 5 quests, respectively.
